Upcoming MPSA (2019) Panel on “Anxiety and Politics”

I have organized and will Chair and present research in the panel, “Anxiety and Politics: Psychoanalytic and Psycho-Social Interventions” at the Annual Conference of the Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA) in Chicago, IL (2019).

We have several fascinating papers to present, whose topics range from the links between anxiety, help, and helplessness, to the relationship between the PTSD suffered by drone operators and contemporary American miltiarism, to analyses of the alt-Right from both psychoanalytic and Frankfurt School perspectives, to meta-reflections on political psychology and political sociology, to a psycho-historical critique of the Chinese Cultural revolution.

We hope you can attend.
